Information

The Kalamazoo RESA Foundation proudly announces the Gary P. and Logan L. Brown Scholarship Application. This scholarship will be awarded to a high school senior who is pursuing a degree in speech and language pathology, special education, or education.

Eligibility criteria:
  • High school senior
  • Pursuing a degree in speech and language pathology, special education, or education
The scholarship will be awarded as a one-time award. Scholarship awards will vary from $250-500. Upon receiving notice in March that the scholarship has been awarded, recipients and their parent(s) will be invited to an awards banquet in April.

To apply, complete this application, along with required documents, no later than March 6th, 2026 at 3:00pm. We are unable to accept late or incomplete applications.

Quota Club Scholarship

Information

The Kalamazoo RESA Foundation proudly announces the Quota Club Scholarship Application. This scholarship will be awarded to a high school senior who is pursuing a degree in special education, with priority to a student who is deaf or hard of hearing.

Eligibility criteria:
  • High school senior
  • Priority to a student who is deaf or hard of hearing
  • If above criteria cannot be met, then a student pursuing a degree in special education
The scholarship will be awarded as a one-time award. Scholarship awards will vary from $250-500. Upon receiving notice in March that the scholarship has been awarded, recipients and their parent(s) will be invited to an awards banquet in April.

Myra L Jackson Scholarship
The Kalamazoo RESA Foundation proudly announces the Myra L Jackson Scholarship Application. This scholarship will be awarded to a high school senior who is pursuing a degree in special education, with priority to a student who is deaf or hard of hearing.

Eligibility criteria:
  • Climax-Scotts High school senior pursuing a degree in special education
  • If above criteria cannot be met, then any Kalamazoo area High School Senior pursuing a degree in special education
  • If above criteria cannot be met, then any Kalamazoo Area High School Senior pursuing a degree in Education
The scholarship will be awarded as a one-time award of $500. Upon receiving notice in March that the scholarship has been awarded, recipients and their parent(s) will be invited to an awards banquet in April.
